AHS District Baseball Announcement
Monday May 13th AHS will take on Oran in a district semifinal. This game is at Bell City, and will begin at 12:00pm. This is a new time due to increasing rain chances through the day.

Advance Elementary Field Day will begin at 8:30am Monday. We are moving the activities to the morning at the Elementary School rather than at the park, due to the likelihood of rain, and the chances increasing throughout the day.

Advance Schools Kindergarten Graduation will be held today at 2:00 pm at the main gym.
Advance High School Graduation: Today at 4:00 pm. Doors will open at 3:15.
***SOFTBALL QUARTERFINAL ANNOUNCEMENT***
AHS Lady Hornets will take on the Holcomb Hornets Tuesday May 14th at 3:00pm in the MSHSAA State Quarterfinals. Game will be played at Westfield Park .
Tickets for this event MUST be purchased online at mshsaa.org. They are available now.
The winner of this game will advance to the Final Four in Springfield on May 20th and 21st.

Thank you to Ronald McDonald House Charities of TriState #RMHC and our local Advance McDonald's for their generous grant that supported our literacy program! With the grant, we were able to purchase books in K-3rd grade for our Rooted in Reading program and class sets of novels for 4th - 6th grade.

District softball shirt orders. They are grey and $18. Order forms are being sent home with elementary students today, if you have a JH/HS student they can pick up an order form in the office. Orders are due this FRIDAY.

With the potential for severe weather today, the FEMA Gym will be opened if a tornado warning is issued. Community members are welcome to seek shelter in the FEMA Gym. However, since this could possibly happen during a school day, School Students and Staff will have priority.
Summer food assistance
Thank you to @DollarGeneral Literacy Foundation for our 2023 youth literacy grant! Funding received supported our UFLI phonics program. With this grant we were able to purchase the University of Florida Literacy manuals, letter & sound magnets, word mapping paddles, whisper phones, invisible ink pens, and materials to make phonics games.
