HS Softball SCAA Tournament will conclude today. Advance will take on Dexter in the 3rd place game at 4:00pm. This game will be played at Bernie High School.

During the week of April 24th, Advance Hornets will get their chance to show how much they have learned this year! Here are some tips to help your child do their best on the Map test:
1. Make sure your child gets plenty of rest the night before the test.
2. On the morning of the test, your child needs to get up in plenty of time so he/she won't feel rushed.
3. Feed your child a good breakfast - or have him/her eat school's breakfast. Research shows that children do better on tests if they have had a good breakfast.
4. Reassure your child that no matter the outcome of the test, you will still love him/her. Encourage them to do their best.

Advance R-4 School District is seeking applications for a K-12 teaching position for the 2023-2024 school year. Teaching duties may include K-6 art, HS/JH art, and other subjects or duties as assigned. Coaching duties may be associated with this position. AHS Baseball hosts Richland Monday in an SCAA first round tournament game at 4:30pm. Woodland will play Bell City in a first round game immediately following.

MAP testing for grades 3-8 will begin the week of Monday, April 24.
EOC testing for high school will begin the week of Monday, May 1.
The Decades Festival is quickly approaching.
If you have not picked up your beta trash bags, you can pick them up tomorrow after school till 3:30 or call the school office to make arrangements to pick up during the school day.
Advance Schools will be collecting monetary donations for the Glen Allen tornado victims this week.
High school will be holding a "reverse change drive" this week. Each class will have a jar set up in the library. The class with the least amount of money at the end of the week will be declared the winners. Students are encouraged to put money in other classes jars to increase their totals. The more money you put in other classes jars will help you class stay low. Of course other classes are going to be putting into your classes jar. So........ let the collecting for a great cause begin.
Elementary classes will be holding a normal change drive. The class that collects the most at the end of the week will be declared the winner.
Both winners will receive a pizza party.

JH Softball and Baseball host Bloomfield today at Westfield Park. Both teams will play double headers beginning at 4:30pm.
