AHS Volleyball begins State Final Four play on Friday November 4th at 4:00pm against Tarkio/Fairfax at the Show Me Center. Tickets are $10 each, plus fees and must be purchased online. AHS Volleyball is headed to the state final four in Cape Girardeau. Today the team will be leaving school at approximately 10:30am. The bus will travel through the school parking lot to the front of the elementary, to 91, to School St. The bus will then travel to Garrett St., turn right onto Maple St. and make its way to 91 again. The bus will travel 91 to C Highway, and then to 25, and on to Cape. Come line the route and cheer the team on. #HornetPride!

AHS Cross Country travels to Columbia for the Class 1 State Championships on Saturday November 5th. AHS' own Luke Ballin will run in the Class 1 race at 2:15pm. Advance teachers participated in the Unit 1 training for LETRS today. Amid the intense training of the basics of the Science of Reading, they were able to collaborate with some fun learning activities

Advance Schools will be letting out half a day this Friday November 4, 2022 for the state volleyball championships. We will let out at our normal half day time. This will allow for our staff, students, and fans to be able to attend the semifinal game. Notes will be sent home with students regarding this. We encourage everyone to go to Cape and cheer the Lady Hornets on to victory. Advance plays their semifinal game at 4:00 pm at the Show Me Center. Tickets are available electronically by visiting the MSHSAA.org website and clicking on the ticket link in the upper right hand corner.

Students created joke books, a pumpkin craft, and deciphered a pumpkin code at the Title 1 Pumpkin 🎃 Patch during the PTO Trunk or Treat.

Congratulations to the AHS XC team on a stellar season! ●Freshman Jameson Hamlin earned a PR of 20:43 today at the C1D1 District Tournament held in Arcadia Valley! ●Freshman Tucker Gilmore also earned his PR of 27:29! ●Ruthie Burnett finished the season running with her cousin from Zalma ●Luke Ballin ran a very fast 5K with a PR of 18:25 which qualified him for STATE TOURNAMENT next weekend in Columbia! #hornetpride 🧡🖤🤍

Congratulations AHS Cross Country on a successful Class 1 District 1 race! Luke Ballin qualified for the State Championship Race November 5th in Columbia with a 28th place finish. Great job Luke and the rest of the team. Congratulations! #HornetPride!

JH Boys Basketball SCAA Tournament is next week at Bloomfield. 8th grade begins play on Tuesday at 5:15pm against Woodland. 7th grade begins play on Tuesday at 6:30pm against Bloomfield. Brackets are attached. Come support the team! #HornetPride!
