Because of the @DollarGeneral Literacy Foundation, we were able to purchase Heggerty Phonemic Awareness instructional books for all reading teachers in grades K-5. Teachers have already noticed huge growth in our students' ability to rhyme, segment sounds, and count syllables! #DGLF #DollarGeneralLiteracyGrant

AHS Volleyball begins State Final Four play on Friday November 4th at 4:00pm against Tarkio/Fairfax at the Show Me Center. Tickets are $10 each, plus fees and must be purchased online. Tickets are good for all matches on the same date. The Show Me Center is also charging $5 for parking.

AHS Volleyball is headed to the state final four in Cape Girardeau. Today the team will be leaving school at approximately 10:30am. The bus will travel through the school parking lot to the front of the elementary, to 91, to School St. The bus will then travel to Garrett St., turn right onto Maple St. and make its way to 91 again. The bus will travel 91 to C Highway, and then to 25, and on to Cape. Come line the route and cheer the team on.

Advance teachers participated in the Unit 1 training for LETRS today. Amid the intense training of the basics of the Science of Reading, they were able to collaborate with some fun learning activities
Please join us in the cafeteria Wednesday evening from 5pm to 7:30pm for a chili supper to celebrate our State Bound Volleyball and Cross Country athletes.
