The 7-9 grade Student of the Month winner for January is Briar. His nominator said, "Briar is always doing what he is supposed to be doing in class. He is also very kind to his classmates. After completing his own work, he helps his other classmates instead of using that time as free time. Briar is also very respectful to me. He uses his manners and reminds the other students, in a nice way, to use their manners, too." Congratulations, Briar! #StudentOfTheMonth

The 3-6 grade Student of the Month winner for January is Colton. His nominator said, "Colton is the nice to everyone kid, he does the "right" thing even when no one is watching. I can trust him to be my reliable student and he treats his peers and teachers with respect. He is a great student who strives to do his best on his schoolwork." The K-2 grade Student of the Month winner for January is Brandon. MSHSAA Boys Basketball district play begins on Monday. AHS will travel to Bloomfield to take on Charleston. Tickets are $6 each for everyone age 6 and up, as set by MSHSAA.
Game begins at 4:30pm.

The sun has done a pretty good job of melting snow on roadways that are paved. Unfortunately the sun can't reach all areas of the roads, especially backroads and gravel. Therefore, Advance R-4 Schools will not be in session tomorrow, Friday February 21, 2025. With warmer temps forecasted for this weekend, we are confident we will be in session on Monday. Stay safe and warm.
