Here's a vocabulary game you can play in the car!

Advance HS Boys Basketball vs. Bernie has been moved to Thursday January 9th, 2025. JV will play at 6:00pm, with Varsity to follow. Homecoming coronation will be held after the Varsity game in the main gym. We have made this change to avoid potentially hazardous weather on Friday. Information regarding the Homecoming Dance will be shared when available.

This week's tip focuses on helping students confirm word recognition.

The Student of the Month program is a new initiative to promote positive behaviors among students and recognize their achievements. Each month, staff members can nominate students who demonstrate qualities like respect, initiative, teamwork, perseverance, and consistent performance. The 10-12th grade winner for November is CJ. His nominator said, "CJ is one of the few students that has consistently submitted their work schedule on time, without the need for reminders, and always maintains a polite and respectful attitude. He has a consistent professionalism and strong work ethic. Having the responsibility to and courtesy to make sure his work schedule is handed in on time shows a high level of maturity and reliability." Congratulations, CJ! #StudentOfTheMonth

Her nominator said, "Madilyn works hard in academics but also has a big heart and includes all students in play and sharing. Assists teacher in the classroom. Cleans up after others. She even picks up big crickets and carries them safely outside to be set free." Congratulations, Madilyn! #StudentOfTheMonth

The 3rd-6th grade winner for November is Kelley. Kelley's nominator said, "Kelley is new to the district this year. He is very kind to everyone and very helpful at all times. He is very responsible and will help out anyone. He is the kid who will pick up someone else's trash and carry someone's things if they need a hand. He is a smart, sweet kid who deserves some praise." Congratulations, Kelley! #StudentOfTheMonth
