The Student of the Month program is a new initiative aimed at promoting positive behaviors among students and recognizing their achievements. Each month, staff members can nominate students who demonstrate qualities like respect, initiative, teamwork, perseverance, and consistent performance. The 3rd-6th grade winner for October is Avery. Avery's nominator said, "Avery has shown outstanding dedication to his education, with perfect attendance so far this year. His hard work in math has been exceptional, consistently putting in the effort to improve and understand challenging concepts. Avery's positive attitude and kindness stand out in the sixth grade. He is always respectful to teachers, listens attentively, and participates thoughtfully in discussions. Not only is Avery a model student, but he is also a true friend to his peers, always willing to lend a hand and offer encouragement. Good Afternoon, Once again our volleyball team has qualified for the State competition in Cape on Friday and Saturday. Our girls play at 2:00 pm on Friday. In order to give any staff, student and parent the opportunity to attend this game, the Advance Board of Education and the Administration have decided it is best to let out of school a half day on Friday. Therefore, Advance Schools will be letting out early this Friday, November 8, 2024. School will be dismissed at 12:30pm. Good luck to our Volleyball team as they compete in the Missouri State Volleyball Championship.
