Advance R-4 School District is currently seeking a Preschool teacher's aide/assistant for the 2024-2025 School Year. Contact Advance Schools for an application and job description or pick up an application in the preschool entryway or Superintendent's office. Hours for this position will be Monday-Friday 8:30-5:30. Days of work will follow the school calendar. This job will start August 5, 2024. For more information you can also contact Victoria Pixley at 573-576-8805.

Tonight I got to give a long overdue recognition of appreciation to some of our former board members.
Little back story. Southeast Superintendents Association used to have a spring banquet where retiring board members were recognized. Covid put an end to that banquet. Since then, we have had four board members leave the board. I have been wanting to honor them for the dedication and service to our school and community.
So tonight Advance R-4 School District was pleased to honor Mr. Todd Ritter, Mr. Charlie Mayo, Mr. Jared Lacy with a nice dinner and a plaque showing our appreciation. Mrs. Ginger Hewitt was unable to attend tonight but will receive her plaque soon.
Thank you all for your service and dedication to the students of Advance R-4 School District.

It has only taken four/five years to get the sign on the old gym put back up. But it is up. Thanks to Kori Demyan for making the new signs and to Bruce and Raines for getting them installed.
