With the potential for severe weather today, the FEMA Gym will be opened if a tornado warning is issued. Community members are welcome to seek shelter in the FEMA Gym. However, since this could possibly happen during a school day, School Students and Staff will have priority.

Thank you to @DollarGeneral Literacy Foundation for our 2023 youth literacy grant! Funding received supported our UFLI phonics program. With this grant we were able to purchase the University of Florida Literacy manuals, letter & sound magnets, word mapping paddles, whisper phones, invisible ink pens, and materials to make phonics games.

Advance School District is taking applications for a Custodian. This is for an immediate hire. Starting pay will be $12.35 an hour with partial board paid health insurance and retirement. Applications can be printed from the school website at www.advancehornets.org or you can pick one up from the school office. This custodial position will be an afternoon position. Hours will be discussed at a later date.
Ms. Brenda joined the Hornets team this spring as a volunteer. She is one of the friendly faces that greets students each morning. Our teachers and students appreciate all of her help with making copies, laminating, and organizing resources. Thank you Ms. Brenda!
