Cross country travels to the Clearwater(Piedmont) meet today. The race is being held at Eagle Sky Camp off Highway 34. Pull into the main entrance and a guard will direct you to the race. First race begins at 3:45pm. Come support our runners! #HornetPride!

Advance R-4 School District is currently taking applications for a part time custodian at the Preschool. We are looking for someone that can work 3 hours each weekday and 5 hours on the weekend during the school year. Hours during the week are preferably afternoon/evening. May be willing to consider morning if the hours work with the preschool schedule. Hours on the weekend are at the candidate of choice's discretion. Applications can be printed from the school website or obtained in any school office. This is an immediate opening. Job will remain open till filled. Pay will be commensurate with experience.

Advance school will once again have free access to Varsity Tutors through a grant from the the state of Missouri. Care givers and students, here is a way to access 24/7 on demand tutoring. #tutoring

AHS Baseball travels to Clearwater Jamboree on Tuesday 8/27. Games will be played at the field near the high school. 4:00pm vs. Clearwater 5:00pm vs. South Iron #HornetPride!

As the new school year starts, we want to let everyone know that we have new bus drivers and sub drivers who are learning our routes. It may take them a little longer to run the route. Please be patient with them. Also the first few days we are learning who is riding and bus and how long the route is and whether we need to make adjustments to the routes. Hopefully by next week the routes will be finalized and timing will be better.

Don't forget to swing by and check out the new bus garage tonight at open house. We will have the doors open and the lights on.

7th grade orientation will be held during open house on Thursday, August 15th at 6 pm. This will be held in Mrs. Eggimann's classroom. This will give parents and students an opportunity to hear about policies and procedures from the junior high teachers.

Advance R-IV Schools holds active shooter/intruder training each year for our staff, per Missouri statute. This Friday we will be holding our training. Stoddard County Sheriff's Office will be leading our training. In addition, we will be hosting multiple law enforcement, and emergency response organizations on our campus. They will be training to respond to such an incident. We appreciate our partnerships with these organizations and look forward to a safe and successful school year. MSHSAA fall high school sports practices will begin on August 12th. This will include Volleyball, Baseball, and Cross Country. Junior high school cross country and girls basketball practices will begin on August 19th. All students participating will need an up to date physical.
