AHS will be offering a pep bus for tonight's SCAA Volleyball Championship night at Richland High School. Students in grades 7th to 12th may sign up in the high school office until 1pm today. Booster Club will be paying admission for all students that ride the pep bus. Let's pack the stands with orange and black! #HornetPride!

AHS JV Volleyball team travels to Jackson High School on Saturday October 14th for a tournament. First match will begin at 9:00am. Pool play schedule is in the pictures. Come support the team! #HornetPride!

"I keep hearing about the Science of Reading. What does this mean? Is this something new?" The Science of Reading refers to research that has been conducted over the past 20 years by reading experts and cognitive scientists! This research has shown us some of the best methods for teaching students to read. Reading teachers in grades K-5 have been participating in a 2-year training called LETRS that has taught us these methods to use with our students. #LiteracyTipThursday

JH Cross Country wrapped up a successful season today at the SCAA meet! Grace Dunning placed 7th, Morgan Hake placed 10th, Tyson Limbaugh reduced his time by 24 seconds & Lance Robins reduced his by 1 minute 33 seconds GO HORNETS! HS Cross Country had a great run as well. Tucker Gilmore earned a new 5k PR of 25:21. Finn Mayberry also earned a PR of 29:44. Luke Ballin was one tenth of a second from tying the fastest school record held at AHS finishing in 17:53.5! Give the team a cheer if you see them running the streets the next three weeks in preparation for Districts, hosted at Notre Dame GO HORNETS! #HornetPride!

JH Girls and JH Boys basketball play at home on Thursday against Bloomfield. Girls game begins at 4:30pm, followed by 7th grade, and then 8th grade to finish the evening. Come support the girls in their last game of the season, and the boys as they are just beginning their season. #HornetPride!
