Great start to the 2023 and SCAA Volleyball season tonight. Lady Hornets Varsity defeated the Bernie Lady Mules 25-10, 25-13, 25-14. Great start to the year ladies.
Junior varsity came up short against the Mules. 11-25, 16-25. Keep working hard ladies.
Advance R-4 School District is currently seeking bids for the construction of an entrance road to the school's under construction bus garage. Bids should include cutting and leveling of the road base (minimum of 8 inches below grade), filling low areas to achieve a level road, base layer of 2 inch minus gravel, finish layer of 3/4 inch minus gravel. Entrance from School Street shall meet all city requirements and culvert be at least 8 feet wider than the constructed road to allow for turning radius of the bus. Road should be bid at 16 feet wid. An alternate bid for a 20 foot wide road should also be submitted. Project site available for inspection by contacting Mr. Shannon Garner at 573-722-3581 during regular business hours. Advance Schools reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids.
Advance R-4 School District is currently accepting applications for Maintenance position. This position may be full time or part time depending on the applications received and the needs of the school. This position will require knowledge in general maintenance, preference given for HVAC experience and/or Electrical experience. Applications can be obtained on the Advance School's website; www.advancehornets.org or in person at the Central Office at 201 School Street, Advance, MO 63730.
